What a great experience! I participated in a round robin/secret santa style gift exchange with crafters from all over the world. I would love to do something like this again, it was great fun trying to think up the perfect gift for my robin and waiting excitedly to see what I received !

My Robin was Jen M, she is a writer and blogger with an impressive collection of vintage typewriters so I wanted to make her something to add to the collection.

All finished, what do you think? I like using recycled materials in my work so I used this old frame with the oval mount I tried to think outside the box (or in this case, outside the oval) with the way I arranged the pieces inside the frame.

My Robin was the lovely Buffie L from Pottsville USA. She sent me this quilted wall hanging.

The colours of the batique print  are so vibrant and the quality of the stitching is just perfect.
